Character Info Hub
Name: Tsukiko Misaki
Age: ???
Race: Quasi-Immortal
Personality:
Tsukiko is for the most part, a recluse. She spends nearly all her time indoors, and while she doesn't shun socialization, she doesn't actively seek it out, either. There are very few people she allows into her sanctum, and they had to work to gain her trust. She doesn't want word of her abilities to get out. She's managed to keep herself a secret this long, so there's no need to screw it up now.
Also pretty obvious, but she's a huge nerd, particularly when it comes to history. However, if it's been in some sort of physical form, she's likely read it. Nearly all of her vast repertoire of knowledge has come from the written word rather than through life experience, even with how old she is. It's a safer way to learn, and just like talking to different people to hear their sides of a story, there are always differences between authors and their takes on events and whatnot. She's very fond of repeating wise sayings she's come across in her studies, should a situation call for it.
If there's one thing she's extremely good at besides reading, Tsukiko has a keen eye and is extremely observant. She can piece things together just by noticing tiny details most people look over, or read a person's mood through the subtlest body language.
While you'd think someone like her would be cold and emotionless, she's actually a pretty kind woman. She's polite, relatively sociable, and enjoys a number of things other than her collection of literature. Tsukiko has a taste for tea, and does occasionally invite her acquaintances over for both tea and snacks prepared by her 'caretakers'. Her other interests include watching the stars and timing whatever tasks she does.
Just like anyone else, there are things Tsukiko isn't so fond of, either. She hates being rushed. Being nigh-immortal means she should be able to take her sweet time doing things at her own pace. She finds being rude quite uncalled for, and will likely scold anyone for using vulgar language or anything of the sort. And of course, trying to keep herself secret from the rest of the world to an extent, she'll do anything she can to get out of having her picture taken. There should be no picture evidence of her existence.
While she does tend to give off the image of a calm and coolheaded person, that's pretty easily broken and/or seen through. Tsukiko is pretty easily embarrassed, whether it be through compliments, getting caught failing at cooking, or seeing something ~scandalous~. She's also a bit superstitious, although she tries to keep that a secret. It gets difficult to hide little good luck charms and salt on the floor sometimes, however.
Backstory:
Long, long ago, Tsukiko was just an average young girl. However, when she turned sixteen, she discovered she had an incredible power. She could use a form of magic that allowed her to turn back time on herself or anything she touched. Afraid of this power, she eventually fled her home, using her magic and her intelligence to survive.
No one knows how old she really is, and even she hasn't even really kept track. The only way to even guess is through mentions of events she's witnessed, one of them being the tale of Princess Kaguya...although it wasn't just a fairy tale. She was there. There are numerous events in history she's witnessed, although most of them happened in Asia. All that time, she kept herself young, moving from place to place, feigning her death if need be in order to avoid suspicion. While some things she'd seen alluded to magic, her own could be dangerous if wielded by the wrong person, so she'd decided to keep it hidden from all beside those who had truly gained her trust.
Despite her attempts to keep off of public records, Tsukiko enrolled in various schools and academies throughout her life with false identities, giving her a chance to learn more. She didn't have a place to truly call her own, and she couldn't just continue on without learning other skills that would help her later on in life.
She's never admitted how, but she came across a vast fortune, which she likely used her magic to locate somehow. Using said fortune, she purchased a number of 'hideaways' through different aliases and workers across the globe. Once they'd passed on, she bought her way into records of their construction and erased them, using most of her remaining funds on purchasing the land her homes rested upon, as well as an incredible number of books, tomes, and scrolls of varying age and subject.
Of course, in order to maintain whatever home she decided to live in, she couldn't do it on her own. So she hired a maid and butler to live with her and help take care of her, as well as her current mansion. They were the first to truly gain her trust, and the first to learn of her magic. To this day, they both still live, courtesy of said magic. They do actively try and encourage Tsukiko to be more social, but as long as she's happy, they don't interfere too much. They take care of her, and she does the same in return. They're closer to a family than the ones who'd raised her as a small child.
Nowadays, Tsukiko continues collecting rare books and scrolls, as well as enlisting in online classes from time to time in order to keep up to date with current teachings. She plays the stock market well, with what money she gains going to a false company she created, although while some of that wealth goes back to her and her caretakers, the rest goes out to various library-related donations.
The latest rumor is that there's an insanely wealthy girl who lives in Maine. She's rarely seen outside her massive house, and only occasionally receives visitors.
Abilities:
-Temporal Healing
-Limited Temporal Rewinding
That's right, Tsukiko's brand of magic allows her to reverse time! However, this magic is only usable on herself or things she touches, but there's no limit as to whether her target is an object or a being.
While she typically uses it to keep herself and her caretakers eternally young, she has a multitude of other uses for it. Such as repairing damaged books by rewinding time on them until they're in pristine condition, or rewarming her tea once it's gotten cold. The possibilities are pretty much endless.
When she activates her magic, her right eye takes on the appearance of a metallic gold & silver clock, with the hands moving backwards rapidly until she's done, when her eye will revert back to normal.

Oh gosh, if she actually looked for a romantic partner...she'd have to look for someone who could sooooort of match her intellect. Not exactly of course, but not get all confused when she rambles on like a dork. Also, someone who wouldn't flip out or try to abuse her magic.
13. Does the character have children? Grandchildren? If yes, how does she relate to them? If no, does she want any?

Beliefs
1. Do you know your character's astrological (zodiac of choice) sign? How well does she fit type?

Tsukiko is a good person, and does have her own personal code of morals and ethics, which she follows closely.
